Full Moon Midwifery customizes its packages to individual families. From new families to seasoned families, we know what matters! Packages are $6,300, with a discount available to families transferring late into care in the third trimester, repeat clients, and families with financial need. Birthing at the NW Midwifery Collective Birth Center incurs an additional fee of $500.
Services
Prenatal Care
- Initial visit with comprehensive review of health history and physical exam
- Monthly visits until 28 weeks, bi-weekly to 36 weeks, then weekly until delivery
- 36-week home visit
- Routine laboratory testing
- Nutritional counseling
- Holistic education, referrals, and resources
- Childbirth education for first-time parents
- 24-hour on-call availability
Labor & Birth
- Out-of-hospital birth care (includes disposable supplies and common medications like IV fluids, anti-hemorrhagics, herbals, and homeopathics)
- Continuous labor support with 1–2 birth assistants
- Individualized monitoring and surveillance during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum
- Repair of 1st and 2nd-degree lacerations (if indicated)
- Birth site clean-up
- Emergency care and referral/accompaniment during transport (when applicable)
- Eye prophylaxis (if desired)
- Vitamin K injection (if desired)
Postpartum Care
- Comprehensive postpartum care through 6 weeks
- Well mother/baby visits:
- In-home at 24–48 hours and 3–5 days (when indicated)
- In-office at 2, 4, and 6 weeks
- CCHD and pulse oximetry screening for the baby
- Newborn metabolic screenings at 24 hours and 2 weeks
- Birth certificate and social security filing
Included Extras:
- 24-hour herbal bath and “Closing of the Bones” ceremony
- In-home lactation support from a lactation counselor
- 10 meals delivered by Soully Nourished (for those who didn’t take childbirth education classes)
